On the mini-series I interview different people from different walks of life, from tour and ex-tour guides to explorers to film makers to video games designers, who share their love and passion for Chernobyl. Interview with Iara Lee who directed documentary ‘Stalking Chernobyl: Exploration after Apocalypse’. She shared her experience of making the movie and filming in Chernobyl.

Interview with Vlad who brings people to Chernobyl in an unusual way, less legal way. He talked about ‘Stalking into Chernobyl’ and what you can expect from this experience.





Episode 3: How really serious is radiation in Chernobyl: the myths and facts with John Lindberg


Interview with John Lindberg who is a radiation and nuclear risk communication expert. John has an extensive policy experience, having worked as a policy adviser in the Scottish and European Parliaments, two different environmental think tanks (where his most recent post was UK Director) and with the UK Government. John debunked all the radiation myths surrounding Chernobyl disaster.

Episode 4: Chernobyl Stalking culture and mistakes of the HBO series with former tour-guide Oleg Shalashov


Interview with Oleg Shalashov who is an ex-Chernobyl stalker and ex-tour operator. He shared his inside about the ‘Chernobyl stalking’ sub-culture and discussed the Chernobyl history, highlighting the differences between HBO Chernobyl tv-series and the reality.





Episode 5: Getting inside the reactor 4 and control room where it all happened with Italian explorer Sat


Interview with Italian explorer Sat who went to Chernobyl in 2020 and had a very unique experience where he managed to get himself into the Reactor 4 and the Control Room!

Episode 6: Cycling to Chernobyl Illegally with Lucas Brunelle


Interview with videographer-cyclist Lucas Brunelle whose Chernobyl movie called ‘Lucas Brunelle Goes to Chernobyl Part 1’ was released on Bicycle Film Festival in 2015. Lucas became a persona non grata in Ukraine after his movie was out. He talks about his experience and shares his take on the radiation, traveling to risky places and obviously, Chernobyl.

Episode 7: Going to Chernobyl the official way and how you can customise your experience


Interview with Ukrainian official tour operator Mykhailo Teslenko who has been taking guests to Chernobyl for over 10 years. We discussed the ins-and-outs of what his tour is like, what you should expect and how to customize your Chernobyl experience.





Episode 8:


Interview with videographer and photographer Philip Grossman. Phillip has been working on long-term project about Chernobyl and his footage was used in the HBO Chernobyl mini-series. He also had an exhibition of his Chernobyl work at the United Nations. In the episode he shared his extensive knowledge on the subject of exclusion zone and the effect of the catastrophe on Belarus.

Episode 9: Chernobylite - creating and setting a video game based on Chernobyl disaster with creative director of Farm 51 Wojciech Pazdur


Interview with a creative director of Farm 51 (video game company) Wojciech Pazdur who put his latest game called Chernobylite in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. Wojciech shared his vision for the project, talked about reasons of setting the game in Chernobyl and his feelings and connections towards the place. He talked about the state of the game, development process and he answered few Reddit questions.

Episode 10: Chernobyl Quiz and 9 interesting facts about Chernobyl you might not know about


Cypriot urban explorer Alex Ioannou and his Italian counterpart Sat (previously a guest from episode 5) battle against each other in CHERNOBYL QUIZ. Both guests and the host also share 3 interesting facts each about the disaster.





CHERNOBYL UPDATE: 14 May 2022

Natasha Tereshchenko describes early days of the war with Russia, leaving Ukraine and her job as a tour operator in The Zone and she updates us on what happened at Chernobyl plant during Russian invasion.
